Crizal AR Performance Coatings

Have you ever noticed an aggravating glare while driving at night? Would you like to eliminate that glare? Anti-reflective finishes applied to your eyeglass lenses will solve your problems.

Anti-reflective finishes are multi-layered finishes applied, via vacuum chamber, to both the front and back surface of your prescription lenses. These finishes work by eliminating the light that is reflected off of the surfaces of your lenses. This reflected light is the glare that you are seeing at night as cars pass, or you pass by a street light.

Have you ever examined the lenses on binoculars, telescopes, rifle scopes, or cameras? If so, you will have noticed a green, pink, or purple sheen to them. This sheen is the anti-reflective finish that has been applied to those lenses to make them perform at their peek optics. Why not have that same performance feature on your prescription lenses?

There are many choices when considering a performance finish. They all work the same - eliminate glare in low lighted situations. The difference between the cheap finishes and the expensive finishes is in the durability and ease of cleaning. In my opinion, if you decide that an anti-reflective finish is what you need, please don't base your experience on the cheaper finishes. They don't hold up. If you're going in invest in these finishes, spend the extra money for Crizal Performance Finishes. Yes, they get expensive, but they hold up. My personal favorite is the Crizal Alize. From experience, Crizal holds up the best.
